Description: A cell surface protein that is over expressed in sever epithelial cancers appears to increase the stem cell renewal/proliferation.  We propose here that the expression of this protein is inhibited by TAp73/p63/p53.  This results in inhibition of  proliferation of epithelial cancer cells.
