Significance: This study suggests that SNAI2, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may promote drug resistance; and promote tumor cell proliferation.  Thus, this study suggests that pharmacological formulations encompassing SNAI2 inhibitor” may be used to (1) increase drug sensitivity; (2) and inhibit tumor proliferation.
