Significance: This study suggests that MCP-1, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of tumor suppressor Sprouty-2Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing MCP-1 inhibitors may be used to inhibit tumorigenesis and metastasis.
