CitationBoominathan, L., Life-extention therapy for Males: Stem cell protein Oct-4 increases male longevity via up regulation of its target gene, 19/October/2014, 8.18 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org

Significance:  This study suggests  that Oct4, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase longevity. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Oct4 activators” can be used to increase  the life expectancy of Males.
