Significance: This study suggests that stress-induced miRNA-29, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may promote Vascular endothelial senescence and Arterial stiffness. Together, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-29 inhibitors” may be used to treat endothelial dysfunction and arterial stiffness.
