Significance: This study suggests that IL-1β, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of oncogenic MiR-17-92 Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “SNAI2 suppressors may be used to inhibit tumorigenesis and metastasis.
