Significance: This study suggests that Curcumin, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of tumor suppressor LKB1. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Curcumin or its analogues may be used to treat LKB1-mutated human tumors.

Undisclosed information: A mechanistic insight into how Curcumin increases the expression of  LKB1.
