Citation: Boominathan, Molecular therapy for Ischemic heart disease: Expression of E2F3 in bone-marrow derived cells mediates cardiac repair after myocardial infarction via down regulation of its target gene, 14/February/2015, 12.13 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that E2F3, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may promote cardiac repair after myocardial infarction. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “E2F3 activators“ may be used to promote cardiac repair.
