Significance: This study suggests that tumor suppressor Agaricus blazei Murill (AbM), by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of PDK1. Thereby, it may inhibit aerobic glycolysis, or warburg effect, in cancer cells. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Agaricus blazei Murill“ may be used to stall the progression of Cancer.
