Turning off inflammation inhibits autoimmune myocarditis: Allitridin, the main component of Garlic, inhibits cardiac inflammation and injury via down regulation of its target gene, 20/March/2015, 13.32

Natural product-based therapy for tumorsuppression: EF24, a curcumin analog, suppresses & increases the expression of DNp63α & IAPP(Amylin), respectively, and induces regression of p53-mutated human tumors via down regulation of its target gene, 20/March/2015, 13.20

A recent study from the Department of Cardiology and Pneumology, Charité University Medicine Berlin, Campus Benjamin Franklin, Hindenburgdamm 30, Berlin 12200, Germany shows that “Adiponectin protects against Toll-like receptor 4-mediated cardiac inflammation and injury.” This study was published in the 1 August’13 issue of the Journal “Cardiovascular Research” by Prof. Skurk C., Dr. Jenke A and others.

On the foundation of this interesting finding, Dr L Boominathan PhD, Director-cum-chief Scientist of GBMD, reports that: Turning off inflammation inhibits autoimmune myocarditis: Allitridin, the main component of Garlic, inhibits cardiac inflammation and injury via down regulation of its target gene. Thus, may be used to treat patients suffering from autoimmune myocarditis.
