Significance: 

This suggests that Garlic, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress the expression of Roundabout 1.  Thereby, it may inhibit metastatic progression of human tumors. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Garlic extract or small molecule compounds isolated from Garlic extract may be used to inhibit the progression of tumors.
