Significance: This study suggests a natural product-based life extension therapy. Fisetin, by decreasing the expression of Ribosomal protein S6 kinase 1 (p70S6 Kinase), it may promote (1) resistance to bone, immune, and motor dysfunction; (2) insulin sensitivity; and (3) longevity.
Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Fisetin or its analogues“ can be used to extend the lifespan of an individual.
