The study presented here suggests that Anticancer drug Campothecin (CPT), by increasing the expression of its target genes, it may decrease the expression of oncoprotein PDPN.

Thereby, it may inhibit proliferation, migration, invasion,  and metastasis of cancer cells. Thus, Campothecin (CPT) may be used to target tumors that specifically overexpress PDPN.
