The study presented here suggests that MiRNA-9600, by decreasing the expression of its target genes, it may increase the expression of pro-apoptotic protein PDCD4. Thereby, it may inhibit apoptotic resistance, migration, invasion and metastasis of cancer cells. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-9600 activators” may be used to inhibit the progression of invasive tumors.
