Significance: This study suggests a Natural product-based treatment for stressed-induced weight gain. Garlic, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of Nocturnin, and promote weight loss. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Garlic or small molecule compounds derived from Garlic“ may be used to promote weight loss.
