Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Ursoli acid, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress the expression of pro-inflammatory protein TNFα. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Ursoli acid or its analouges” may be used to increase healthspan.
