A recent study from the Laboratory of Gene Regulation and Signal Transduction, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, California 92093; Departments of Pharmacology and Pathology, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, California 92093; and Moores Cancer Center, University of California, San Diego, La Jolla, California 92093, USA shows that “A gp130-Src-YAP module links inflammation to epithelial regeneration.” This study was published in the 5 March  2015 issue of the Journal “Nature” [I.F:42] by Prof. Michael Karin, Dr. Koji Taniguchi, and others.

On the foundation of this interesting finding, Dr L Boominathan PhD, Director-cum-chief Scientist of GBMD, reports that: MiRNA-based regenerative therapy for Injured tissues: MiRNA-380-5p promotes epithelial regeneration and tissue growth via down regulation of its target gene. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-380-5p or its activators” may be used to promote regeneration and healing of injured tissues.
