Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Thermostable extract of fenugreek seeds (TEFS), by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease food intake and body weight. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Thermostable extract of fenugreek seeds (TEFS) or small molecule compounds isolated from it” may be used to decrease body weight.
