Significance: 

This suggests, for the first time, that Green tomato extract, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of Growth hormone (GH).  Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Green tomato extract  or small molecule compounds isolated from it“ may be used to treat disorders associated with growth hormone deficiency, including dwarfism.
