Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that AntagomiR-23b, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may promote cardiac repair after myocardial infarction. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “AntagomiR-23b or inhibitors of miR-23b“ may be used to promote cardiac repair.
