Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that MiRNA-152, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may increase pulmonary arterial hypertension. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-152 inhibitors may be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
