Significance: This study suggests that Angiopoietin-like protein 1, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of metastasis promoter ROCK1. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Angiopoietin-like protein 1 activators“ may be used to inhibit tumorigenesis and metastasis.
