Significance: This study suggests that Angiopoietin-like protein 1, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of Sox9 Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing Angiopoietin-like protein 1 activators may be used to inhibit tumorigenesis and metastasis.

Amount: $300

Undisclosed information: A mechanistic insight into how Angiopoietin-like protein 1 decreases the expression of Sox9.
