Significance: This study suggests that miR-100, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may inhibit memory consolidation. Together, this study suggests, for the first time, that pharmacological formulations encompassing “miR-100 inhibitors” can be used in the treatment of Alzhemer’s disease.
