Noble laureate in Physiology/Medicine (1975), Prof. Dr. David BaltimoreCalifornia Institute of Technology (Caltec), California, USA, had reported in the high profile journal Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A.  (2012 Mar 13;109(11):4233-8) that Oncomir miR-125b regulates hematopoiesis by targeting the gene Lin28A.

On the foundation of this interesting finding, Dr L Boominathan PhD, Director-cum-chief Scientist of GBMD, reports that: Deciphering the molecular mechanisms of tumorigenesis: Tumor suppressor miR-335 regulates the expression of induced pluripotent stem cell gene Lin-28A via down regulation of its target gene
