GBMD Director-cum-Chief-Scientist Dr L Boominathan PhD reports that p63-mediated activation of NK2x2 and Ox2r results in increased life span and decreased ageing. Furthermore, Dr Boominathan identifies the mechanism through which p63 increases life span and decreases ageing. Together, this study suggests that “p63 pathway regulators” may delay ageing and extend the life span of an individual.
Therefore, Dr L Boominathan strongly believes that p63 acts as the “Protector of ageing and the Extender of Life span“
