Significance: Ginseng, by increasing the expression of its target miRNA, it may: (1) decrease the expression of IGF-1; (2) prolong the survival; (3) and the life expectancy of cancer patients. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Ginseng or its analogues” may prolong the life expectancy of cancer patients.
