Significance: This study suggests that MiRNA-190-bby down regulating the expression of its target gene, it  may inhibit weight gain.  Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing MiRNA-190-b  activator” may be used to: (1) decrease pathological weight gain; and (2) treat food addiction.
