Significance:   This study suggests that curcumin, by suppressing the expression of lipoprotein lipase, it may inhibit the accumulation of lipid in the liver. Together, this study suggests, for the first time, that pharmacological formulations encompassing Curcumin or its analogues/derivatives can be used in the treatment of Steatosis.
