Citation: Boominathan, Mechanism of tumorigenesis: C/EBPβ increases the expression of Notch-1 and -2 via down regulation of its target gene, 26/October/2014, 10.29 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org

Significance: This study suggests that C/EBPβ, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of Notch1 and Notch2. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “C/EBPβ inhibitor“ may be used to inhibit tumorigenesis and metastasis.
Amount: $300
Undisclosed information: A mechanistic insight into how C/EBPβ increases the expression of Notch-1 and Notch-2.
