Idea Proposed/Formulated by: Dr L Boominathan Ph.D.
Citation: Boominathan, Mechanism of tumorigenesis: RREB increases the expression of Notch-1 and -2 via down regulation of its target gene, 25/October/2014, 11.13 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org

Significance: This study suggests that RREB, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of Notch1 and Notch2. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “RREB inhibitor“ may be used to inhibit tumorigenesis and metastasis.
Amount: $300
Undisclosed information: A detailed mechanistic insight into how RREB increases the expression of Notch-1 and Notch-2.
