Significance: This study suggests that stress-induced MiRNA-217, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may promote Vascular constriction. Together, this study suggests that pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-217 inhibitors” may be used to treat pathological situations associated with vascular constriction.
