Significance: This study suggests that stress-induced MiRNA-132by suppressing the expression of its target gene, may promote Vascular endothelial senescence; and Arterial stiffness. Together, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-132 inhibitors” may be used to treat endothelial dysfunction and arterial stiffness.
