Significance: This study suggests that IL-17, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of PD-1.  Thereby, it may suppress the immune system that attack tumors and promote metastasis. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “IL-17 inhibitors  may be used to inhibit the progression of tumors.
