To cite: Boominathan, Mechanistic insight into tumor suppression: Angiopoietin-like protein 4 (ANGPTL4) increases the expression of tumor suppressor p53 via down regulation of its target gene, 5/April/2015, 21.43, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: ANGPTL4, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of guardian of the genome p53. Thereby, it may inhibit tumor progression. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “ANGPTL4 activators” may be used to inhibit tumor progression.
