Citation: Boominathan, Mechanistic insight into tumorsuppression: Neurotensin decreases the expression of tumor suppressor RECK via down regulation of its target gene, 17/February/2015, 8.51 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Neurotensin, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of RECK. Thereby, it may promote cancer progression. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Neurotensin inhibitors” can be used to inhibit the progression of human tumors.
