GBMD Director-cum-Chief-Scientist Dr L Boominathan PhD reports that miR-100 may increase the life span of an individual.  Furthermore,     Dr Boominathan identifies the mechanism through which miR-100 increases the life span of an individual. This study suggests that miR-100 activators” may increase one’s longevity.

The average life span of an individual in certain parts of the world varies from 80 to 85 years. Dr Boominathan envisions that miR-100 activators may increase the life span of an individual by 20%.  If this supposition turns out to be true, then the average life span of an individual may increase from 80 to 100 years.

Thus, Dr L Boominathan believes that miR-100 acts as the “longevity promoter.”
