Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that MiRNA-425, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of immortality gene telomeraseThereby, it may decrease ageing of tissues and promote longevity.  Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-425 or its activators”  can be used to decelerate ageing process.
