Citation: Boominathan, MiRNA-based anti-metastasis therapy: MiRNA-141 suppresses the expression of KITLG and inhibits migration and invasion via down regulation of its target gene, 10/February/2015, 23.43, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests that MiRNA-141, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress the expression of MiRNA-141. Thereby, it may inhibit the migration, invasion and metastasis. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing ” MiRNA-141 or its activators“ may be used to inhibit the progression of tumors.
