Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that MiRNA-129-5, by inducing the expression of its target gene, it may promote anti-tumor immunity. Thereby, it may inhibit tumor progression. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MiRNA-129-5 or its activators” may be used to inhibit tumor progression.
