Significance: PTEN is the second most mutated gene in human cancer. MIRNA-134, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it could induce the expression of PTEN. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “MIRNA-134” can be used to treat PTEN-mutated human cancers.
