Significance: This study suggests that Endothelin-1, by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress the expression of Notch1 and Notch2. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Endothelin-1 activators“ may be used to inhibit tumorigenesis and metastasis.
