Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that ING1b, by increasing the expression of  its target genes, it may inhibit the expression of AML1 and MMP-13. Thereby, it may inhibit the migration and invasion of cancer cells. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “ING1b activators”  can be used to inhibit the progression of metastatic human tumors
