Significance:
This suggests that SMARCE1, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the maturation of tumor suppressor miRNAs. Thereby, it may inhibit metastatic progression of human tumors. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “SMARCE1 activators“ may be used to inhibit the progression of tumors.
