Citation: Boominathan, Molecular therapy for Cancer: USP22 (Ubiquitin- specific peptidase) increases the expression of tumor suppressor PDCD4 via down regulation of its target gene, 26/January/2015, 23.07, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that USP22, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may promote the activity of tumor suppressor PDCD4. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “USP22 activators” may be used to inhibit the progression of tumors.
