Citation: Boominathan, Molecular therapy for Hepatocellular carcinoma: BMP4 increases the expression of hepatocellular carcinoma, downregulated 1 (HEPN1) and inhibits the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma via down regulation of its target gene, 18/February/2015, 22.30, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that BMP4, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may increase the expression of HEPN1. Thereby, it may inhibit the progression of Hepatocellular carcinoma. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “BMP4 activators” can be used to treat Hepatocellular carcinoma.
