Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that SNAI, by decreasing the expression of its target gene, it may inhibit early pregnancy loss, while promoting fetal growth. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “SNAI activators” may be used to protect pregnant women from miscarriage, while promoting fetal growth.
