Citation: Boominathan, Molecular therapy for Pulmonary Hypertension: Stem cell proteins Oct-4 and Sox2 inhibit pulmonary hypertension via down regulation of their target genes, 22/January/2015, 18.45, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that Oct-4 and Sox2, by increasing the expression of their target genes, they may inhibit the development of pulmonary hypertension. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “Oct-4 and Sox2 activators” may be used to treat pulmonary hypertension.
