Significance: This study suggests, for the first time, that ING1b, by suppressing the expression of its target gene, it may decrease the expression of Low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 and promote weight loss. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing “ING1b activators“ may be used to promote weight loss.
