Citation: Boominathan, L., Natural product-based Anti-virus therapy: Oleic acid (OA), a Neem oil component, suppresses dengue virus replication via up regulation of its target gene, 28/May/2015, 08.41 am, Genome-2-Bio-Medicine Discovery center (GBMD), http://genomediscovery.org
Significance:
This suggests, for the first time, that Oleic acid (OA), by increasing the expression of its target gene, it may suppress dengue virus replication. Thus, pharmacological formulations encompassing ” Oleic acid (OA) or its analogues“ may be used to inhibit dengue virus replication.
